Yesterday (Monday) I woke up and took my before pics (which I decided not to post)--(maybe one day) and weighed myself. The scale read 153. Being that I am 5'4", I would like to reach a goal weight of 125 overall. Even though I am comfortable at around 140, I am ready to get healthy and for me I feel that will be 125.
After getting the kids breakfast & while they were busy playing I started the C25k program. I am so surprised at how good it felt. Considering that I haven't "ran" since high school, I thought I was going to hate it. I did day 2 today and sweated my ass off, but I finished without stopping. I feel amazing.
Along with starting this program I have decided to cut some things out of my diet (just until I reach my goal, then I may add them back in moderation. I am currently cutting out all sweets, dairy, and only eating a certain amount of (healthy) carbs per day. So...what am I loving right now? O-M-G.....I am obsessed with Almond Milk! I love to mix it with 1 scoop of 100% whey protein powder(chocolate) and have it post workout. I am also loving Organic Girl's Super Greens. Yum!
I am thinking about incorporating Jillian's 30 Day Shred with the C25k program maybe next week (if I can squeeze it in).

So, I suck at blogging! I haven't posted since September! OOPS! I swear I need to get back to it. I just saw your comment from my blog from a LONG time ago and thought I would check your blog out. I see you are starting couch to 5K! Keep at it, running is amazing! :) I am also thinking about cutting out dairy and possibly wheat but not sure yet. I might miss it too much. How is that going for you?
